Citizens of the European Union are not required to have a visa or a work permit thus EU citizens seeking work in Spain will not require a working visa. Non EU citizens can stay up to 3 months as tourists.
TiB provides advice and information for those wishing to secure work and residence permits after course completion. We also offer ongoing Spanish and Catalan courses throughout your stay so that you can have a student visa- which gives you the right to work up to 25 hours a week legally if you are from a non-EU country. Non EU citizens can apply for a working visa once a job is secured, however this process is lengthy and most non-EU teachers work for cash in hand- a common practice. Citizens of some countries may need to apply for a visa in order to enter the country. Please consult your local Spanish consulate for more information. Or contact us if you would like to participate in our student visa and work program.
